<p>The structural component is for use in a multi-purpose appliance which may function as a ladder, bridge across cavity, formwork carrier, scaffolding unit, or wall or ceiling element, or serve other purposes. There is at least one cross strut made of rigid material and two fixtures plates(3, 4) firmly connected to the strut at one end and extending at right angles to it. These serve for fixture of the strut between two lengthways components(7, 8) made of wood, such as planks, aligned at right angles to it. Each fixture plate may have a fitting plate(5, 6) on the plank, or similar, standing out from the strut at right angles. Fixture plate and fitting plate can consist of the two shanks of an L profile.</p> |
