Hydrocarbon soluble organo-magnesium complex of the formula (R2'Mg)m . [(RO)aM]n WHEREIN R is a hydrocarbyl group or <IMAGE> wherein R2 is a hydrocarbyl group. R' is a primary alkyl group having 1 to 25 carbon atoms, or phenyl group, or mixture thereof, M is a group IIA or group IIIA metal and a is 2 or 3, and m and n are numbers such that the ratio of m/n is about one or greater.
