The four sides of the picture frame are delivered flat and singly to an assembly station. A spring is locked within the two opposite runs of the profile. The lower parts (6) of the bow forms the support zone, the bow (7) and the lever (2) providing the necessary elasticity. The bow (7) may also be used for the suspension of the frame. The raised end (8) blocks the spring and is perfectly held at three different points of contact (4, 5, 8).
