<p>The packing is for liquids used for beauty care or hygiene. It consists of an internal watertight sachet (2) which contains the liquid (1) and an external envelope (4, 5) which is made of absorbant material, such as cotton wool. The external envelope consists of two sheets of material whose edges (7) are joined together by pressure (8, 9) to surround the sachet. The watertight sachet is made from a thin sheet of aluminium or chemically inert plastics material so that it can be easily perforated and the liquid absorbed into the envelope ready for use.</p> |
