Charcoal-based fuel - comprising a mixt. of wood charcoal and agglomerated charcoal fines

Fuel, esp. for barbecues, comprises a mixt. of (a) high-density agglomerates produced from wood charcoal fines, and (b) low-density wood charcoal. The fuel is less bulky than ordinary charcoal; it ignites easily and burns for a long time. The fuel pref. comprises 15-40 wt.% of agglomerates with a density of 0.35-0.45 and a crush strength of 5-15 kg/cm2, and 85-60 wt.% of charcoal with a density of 0.18-0.28.
