摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To enable accurate measurement of content components of vegetable quickly by a method wherein respective absorbance signals from a semiconductor sensor and other semiconductor sensors are inputted into an arithmetic section, which correct absorbance of vegetable by absorbance of a reflecting object to determine a degree of sugar. CONSTITUTION:Irradiation light to vegetable 8 with an optical fiber 6 is transmitted through vegetable 8 and a part of light with a certain specified wavelength resonates with a functional group composing sugar of the vegetable 8 to be absorbed in proportion to a degree of sugar. Others than light absorbed are reflected from the inside of a peach and introduced to a semiconductor sensor 10 with a coaxial fiber 9 to measure the absorbance of the peach by an amount of the reflected light thereof. The remain of near infrared rays 5 as irradiated to a teflon ball 11 as reference light is partially reflected to be introduced to a semiconductor sensor 13 through the coaxial fiber 12 to measure absorbance of the teflon ball 11. A computation is performed by an arithmetic section 16 to correct fine changes due to environmental conditions, filters and the like and an OD value signal is outputted from a wire 17 to determine a degree of sugar.</p>
