<p>The table top (6) can be moved from the horizontal position of use about a point of articulation (15, 16) which lies in front of the armrest (4) across its plane and down into the shaft (5) of the armrest (4). This shaft (5) can then be closed by a lid (7) which can be hinged at the back of the seat. Once folded down into the shaft the table top needs no further restraints and is quite secure even with sudden accelerations and decelerations of the train. The point of articulation for the table top can be formed by a fork shoe (15) which moves into a stop position in the position of use with the articulated peg (16) of the armrest passing through it.</p> |
