Automatic document set forming mechanism - varies magazine positions to adjust overlap along conveyor and assemble document sheets

The mechanism forms sets from drawings, documents etc. of the same or different sizes, there being a magazine for each document type with a mechanism delivering one at a time, while the magazines are positioned one after the other along a conveyor. The individual documents are delivered from the underside of their respective stacks, and assembled by the conveyor one above the other. The necessary offset to cause the documents to overlap in each set is adjusted by varying the positions of the magazines (7) along the conveyor. This adjustment can be made in the lengthwise direction of the documents, and by varying the intervals between the magazines.
