<p>Forklift truck has a chassis with three or more wheels, a lifting mechanism extensible horizontally, and a driving position forming an oblong module, slewed by a drive about a vertical axis on the frame into positions parallel or at right angles to the extension direction and lockable in these positions. The lifting mechanism has forks (10) coupled to an adjusting mechanism (13, 14) which moves them on horizontal guides (8, 9) at right angles to the extension direction, either to and from each other or in the same direction. This mechanism can be controlled from the driving position, there being a separate actuator engaging with each fork, connected to the other via a common control unit.</p> |
