The device is to press out the contents of tubes using a wall suspended or mobile appts. with a well shaped housing. The device includes a method of automatically closing the tube after use. The pressing out of the tube contents is carried out by a roller. The roller are held in place by springs, rigid straps (8) or guide grooves for the shafts (11). The rollers are driven by springs or clamping rings or alternatively by a hand wheel. The closure of the tube is assured either by a slider closure using a flap over a cover which may have a slider formed on as an alternative.
