Apparatus for sorting rod-shaped mechanical resonators of magnetic material, where a coarse frequency adjustment has been effected by grinding, the apparatus serving to feed the coarsely-adjusted resonators via a conveyor in step-wise fashion to a magnetization stage followed by a measuring stage in which the frequency of each resonator is measured and fed to a control store which operates both the stepping action of the conveyor and also a distributor station which selectively feeds resonators to separate stores allotted to respective frequency ranges, means being provided to erase the stored value for any given resonator at that step following the ejection of any said resonator, at least the measuring station and said separate stores being at respective indexed positions of a turn-table. |
