PURPOSE: A system for depositing coins and small bills through public deposit box is provided to activate the circulation of coins and small bills, minimize the small bills issuance cost, and simplify the small bills depositing process by enabling the users to conveniently deposit coins and small bills in the commercial areas and on the street. CONSTITUTION: A system for depositing coins and small bills through public deposit box is composed of deposit, confirmation, and completion. A user initializes the CPU by operating the deposit key(1) and inputs one's personal identification number through the keypad(2). The coins and small bills are deposited through the coin insert department and the bills deposit/return department, the deposited currency is counted, and the authenticity of the currency is determined(3). The depositor's personal identification number and the deposit amount is displayed on the LCD and the deposit confirmation is made by using the confirmation key(4). Upon confirmation, the deposit is processed(5) and stored in the data storage(6). After a specified time has elapsed, the appropriate financial institution makes the deposit in the appropriate account that is linked to the personal identification number(8). |
