The insulation stripper for cables, has a housing (1) with an through hole (2) containing three jaws (4) 120 deg. part. The jaws reduce the dia. of the hole and are connected to three sprung pins (3). Knife edges (5) between the jaws have spring bolts (6).A setting ring (8) with an internal conical surface (9) screws over the outside of the housing. Rotating the ring causes its conical surface to move bolts and pins radially in or out. The ring and housing are enclosed in an outer casing (10).
