<p>The transport vehicle for heavy and bulky loads, has a chassis which carries sliding side blocks supporting the wheel stub axles and simple piston type jacks (28, 29). The jack pistons are solid with the chassis. There is also a hydraulic valve and a reservoir. Fluid fed to the jack lifts the chassis into the travelling position and releasing it returns fluid to the reservoir and lowers the chassis to the loading position. At the lower part of the chassis are transverse, movable bars (24) to place under the load, which is then strapped to the vehicle. The chassis is at two levels, each formed by U shaped pipes (1, 11) and joined together by vertical struts (27).</p> |
