PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature for magnetrogenerator capable of preventing generation of defects such as layer short. SOLUTION: In an armature iron core 4, a plurality of poles 2 are radially disposed on the outer periphery of an annular part 1, and an insulating coating 3 is fitted to the outer periphery of each pole 2 and the outer side face of an annular part 1. The armature iron core 4 and an armature coil 5 are fitted through a crossover 6 in the identical direction every one or two poles to each pole 2. A descent surface 3b from the surface 3a of the armature iron core 4 brought into contact with the end of the armature coil 5 through a step 7 is formed on a portion which is at the side surface of the annular part 1 and through which the crossover 6 passes. The step 7 is formed so as to have a height equal to or higher than the thickness of the crossover 6. The crossover 6 is fitted along a corner 8 formed out of the step 7 and the descent surface 3b therefrom.
