The fixing bolt has a hexagonal head(1) fitted with cross bores(5) and (6) perpendicular to each other. The bolt has an end thread(4) and is made from hexagonal bar which is not machined over the central portion(2) so as to leave a large hexagonal section at this point. The screw may be tightened by means of a tool with a hexagonal bore which slips over the hexagonal portions of the bar. The outside of the tool is fitted with a number of ratchet teeth which enable the bolt to be turned. The bolt head may be turned with a tommy bar.
