The application is to a flat multiple outlet socket or adaptor, typically for domestic use, which gives a number of outlets without occupying a large volume. The adaptor is in two sections, and the corresponding conductors in each section (9, 14; 10, 13; 11, 12) lie parallel and in the same plane. The interconnections between the conductors are in the form of bridges (16, 17, 18) which also lie parallel to each other and in the same plane. Generally they cross the conductors forming the socket outlets at right angles. The bridging pieces (16, 17, 18) are contained in a local thickening of the connector housing.
