PURPOSE:To obtain stable vibration suppression effect by composing of a contact member being capable of contacting a part of the surface of a vibrating body, a fixed member connected onto a part of the surface of the vibrating body and a connecting member connecting the contact member to the fixed member and contacting it onto a part of the surface of the vibrating body with elastic force. CONSTITUTION:A construction is composed of a contact member 21 being capable of contacting a part of the surface of a vibrating body 1, a fixed member 22 of rigid body connected by spot-welding, etc. onto a part of the surface of the vibrating body 1, and a connecting member 23 connecting the both members 21 and 22 to each other. The member 23 functions as an arm with elastic force with which the member 21 is contacted onto a part of the surface of the vibrating body 1. When a vibration energy Ev from an excitation source is transmitted to the outside through the surface of the vibrating body 1, a vibration suppression member 2 is attached on the surface, i.e., on the internal wall surface or external wall surface of the vibrating body 1 to reduce vibration and noise transmitted to the outside of the vibrating body 1 opposite to the excitation source. |
