FIELD: mechanical engineering; metal working; other industries; methods of deposition of the wear-resistant coatings for the cutting tools. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the methods of deposition of the wear-resistant coating for the cutting tools and may be used in the metal working-. The given method includes the vacuum-plasma deposition- of the multilayered coating. The lower layer is deposited out of nitride or carbonitride of the compound of titanium, silicon and iron at their ratio of (in mass %): titanium - 96.8-97.4, silicon - 0.8-1.0, iron - 1.8-2.2. The upper layer is deposited out of nitride or carbonitride of the compound of titanium, silicon and molybdenum at their ratio (in mass %) - titanium - 91.8-92.3, silicon - 0.8-1.0, molybdenum - 6.9-7.2. Deposition of the layers of the coating is exercised by the three cathodes -disposed horizontally in one plane, first of which is made composite out of titanium and iron, the second cathode is made composite out of titanium and molybdenum and - disposed oppositely to the first cathode, and the third cathode is produced out of the alloy of titanium and silicon and placed between them. The given method makes possible to increase the working capacity of the cutting tool. ^ EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased the working capacity of the cutting tool. ^ 1 tbl |
