. Electric therapeutical apparatuses are known. Direct current has proven more beneficial than alternating although the human body can tolerate only low levels of direct current. This invention provides improved electric therapeutical apparatus which generates alternating current having a frequency in the audio frequency band but has periodic quiescent periods of zero potential. An oscillator produces both triangular and sinusoidal wave forms. The sinusoidal waveform feeds the output under the control of logic circuitry fed by the triangular waveform to produce bursts of alternating current at the output with periodic quiescent periods of zero potential.
