The front is a tractor and the rear a trailer. The trailer axle is steered according to the angle between the tractor and the trailer by a lever (7) controlled by this angle (alpha). The transmission of this lever is variable by displacement of its centre and the lever is hinged to the trailer by two oscillating arms (8), (9). Lines (10), (11) passing the hinge points (12,), (14) and (13,), (15) of the oscillating arms (8), (9) cross at one point (16). This point is in a vertical plane passing through two hinge points (6), (16) of the front vehicle point (3) and the fixing to the lever (7) (which is cross shaped). |
