#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves locating pupils in a complete face image, and selecting interested zones (B1, B2) in the face image during an initialization phase, where the zones incorporate the pupils. An image corresponding to the interested zones is acquired with glossy eye effect, and an image incorporating the interested zones is acquired with black eye effect using a global shutter type camera during each image acquisition sequence. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for locating a pupil of a driver of motor vehicle. Can also be used for locating a pupil of a driver of a train and an air traffic controller. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method acquires only the images corresponding to and incorporating the interested zones in the face image and eliminates other images, thus locating the pupil of the driver in a better manner. The method prevents variations between two images due to movement of the eye or visual environment.
