An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to determine the position of an LCD panel with respect to a case using elastic position determining pieces coming into contact with opposite sides of the LCD panel. An LCD includes a case and an LCD panel(32) assembled in the case. The case includes a rear wall(48) in the form of a rectangular frame and a front wall in the form of a rectangular frame. The rear wall comes into contact with the edge of the backside of the LCD panel. The front wall comes into contact with the edge of a display face of the LCD panel and supports the LCD panel in cooperation with the rear wall. A pair of position determining pieces(50) are attached to one of the rear wall and the front wall. The position determining pieces come into contact with opposite sides of the LCD panel to determine the position of the LCD panel with respect to the case.
