PURPOSE: To make it possible to control two syrup components to a prescribed volumetric ratio by providing a binary syrup metering system with a pressure equalizing means for compensating the pressure difference between a pair of flow channels and metering orifices in the respectively flow channels. CONSTITUTION: A syrup metering device 16 including a housing 50 for beverage dispensing from containers 12, 14 holding the different syrup components is provided with inlets 22, 24 and an outlet 26 and the flow channels 34, 36 connected to these inlets 22, 24. The pressure equalizing means 38, 40 combined with a single actable diaphragm member 42 having diaphragm elements 44, 46 for compensating the pressure difference at the flow channels are disposed and a pressure equalizing block is formed in each of the flow channels respectively existing downstream of these means. The flow channels respective existing downstream of the pressure equalizing blocks are respectively provided with the metering orifices 68, 70. The syrup is fed from the flow conduits thereof to the outlet 26 which controls the stream of the two separate syrup components, thereby combining these components to the complete syrup having the specified volumetric ratio. |
