PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screed unit of construction machinery for a pavement, which can ensure the manufacturing easiness and rigidity of a supporting mechanism for supporting an expansion screed on a main screed. SOLUTION: Supporting mechanisms 24 and 25, which make the expansion screeds 22 and 23 supported in such a manner as to be movable in a width direction, respectively, are provided between the one-side portion and other-side portion of the main screed 21, and the one-side and other-side expansion screeds 22 and 23. The supporting mechanisms 24 and 25 are provided with box structures 46 and 47, respectively. The box structures 46 and 47 comprise: two main-side vertically-arranged guide shafts 41 which are fitted in such a manner as to be freely slidable in a widening direction, into holding bodies 33 as members on the side of the main screed 21, respectively; two expansion-side vertically-arranged guide shafts 43 which are fitted in such a manner as to be freely slidable in a widening direction, into slidable bodies 42 integrated with the one-side and other-side expansion screeds 22 and 23; and one-side and the other-side lateral plates 44 and 45 which hold the main-side guide shaft 41 and the expansion-side guide shaft 43 in parallel so as to integrate the one-side ends of them and the other-side ends of them together, respectively.
