摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for synthesizing a star polymer, by which the star polymer can be efficiently synthesized by photoirradiation living polymerization with a compound having four or more N,N-dialkyl-dithiocarbamylmethyl molecular groups in the same molecule as an iniferter. SOLUTION: The method for synthesizing a star polymer by photoirradiation living polymerization with a compound having four or more N,N-dialkyl-dithiocarbamylmethyl molecular groups in the same molecule as an iniferter includes: a step of preparing a raw material solution by dissolving a monomer and the iniferter in a nonpolar solvent; and a photoirradiation step of irradiating inside the raw material solution with light, wherein, in the photoirradiation step, light having different wavelengths in a range of 300-400 nm is irradiated.
