PURPOSE:To eliminate a heat damage of a supercharger of an internal combustion engine by connecting a suction passage at an upper stream side of a compressor and a suction passage at the lower stream side by a releaf passage for lowering a temperature of the exhaustion gas. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 43 of a supercharger 4 is provided on a part of a suction passage 6. The suction passage 6 at an upper stream side and a suction passage 6a at a lower stream side of a compressor 43 are connected through by a relief passage 15 in which a relief valve 14 to be opened by a fixed supercharging pressure is provided. When the supercharging pressure of the suction passage 6a of the compressor 43 exceeds a fixed value, it is released to the low pressured suction passage 6 at the upper stream of the compressor 43 by the relief valve 14, and at the same time, to lower an air-fuel ratio by increasing the volume of fuel from an injector 31. In this way, the temperature of the exhaustion gas is lowered to prevent a heat damage of a turbine 41 of the supercharger 4. |
