A mobile terminal and a control method for performing the search of web page connected through a restricted screen of a mobile terminal are provided to set up specific area and display an area which is set up in reconnection of web page. A controller operates a web browser and connects a web page(S200). The controller selects a specific area within the web page(S205). The controller indicates the screen of the web page when reconnection of the web page(S210). The first screen of the web page displays previously set area such as a log-in area, a search area, a selection area and a link area. A user accesses frequently searched area according to the indication of the first screen.
