A system to enable a user to validate data in a database of spatial data defining geometric objects. The system comprises a data store storing data schema, said data schema defining allowed formats for a rule tree having a set of nodes defining a rule. A graphical user interface (GUI) enables a user to build one or more rules for operating on said database of geometric objects by displaying a graphical representation of a rule tree. A user can build a tree based rule or an action for operating on a dataset of spatial objects by selecting menus for a respective node in the tree. |
