<p>A method is used for reproducing written material, normally addresses etc., repetitively making use of teleprinter facilities, removing the need for equipment such as addressing machines etc. The method also enables instructions as to the printing to be altered without manual intervention and the consequent loss of time. The system is based on the use of a perforated paper strip, preferably endless, carrying the material to be printed and the instructions in coded form, being inserted into the teleprinter head. The tape also includes start and stop commands. A drum (2) is included to carry the blank source paper strip normally divided into defined zones along its length.</p> |
