PURPOSE:To obtain a record having clearness and durability against sunlight by using recording paper provided with a specific coated layer in a thermal recording method wherein the color material of foundation paper for transfer provided with a color-material layer is transferred thermally on recording paper. CONSTITUTION:In short, polyvinyl pyrrolidone and/or a pigment (e.g. calcium carbonate, titanium oxide, etc.) are mixed in the water dispersion liquid (or solution) of saturated polyester (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate) and the coating thus obtained is applied on a supporting body (e.g. ordinary paper such as pure paper) in the rate of about 7-15g/m<2>, whereby the recording paper is prepared. As the foundation paper for transfer, thin leaf paper whereon the color material layer is formed by applying thereon thermal transfer ink being solid (semisolid) at a normal temperature is used. |
