Roller press for fine grained material - compresses material against either side of belt passing between rollers

The press for granular material has two rollers (8) mounted a certain distance from one another. A channel (2) with inlet funnel (3) is mounted above the rollers. Fine grained material is fed to the trough from a belt. An endless belt (12) which runs over rollers (11) is fed through the gap between the rollers at the same time as the material to be compressed, so that this material is compressed from either side against this belt, while the belt improves the passage of material through the gap. The compressed material (18) is removed from the belt by scrapers (20) so that it breaks into lumps which are removed by conveyors (19).
