<p>A strainer for a liquid, esp. for the suction line of fuel pumps for internal combustion engines, is made of a plastic such as polypropylene or polyethylene which is resistant against the liquid. It is very simple to produce and to exchange because it is made of two halves which are joined together to one moulding by a hinge strip across a dia. of the strainer end face. Both the tailpiece with which the strainer is inserted into the suction pipe, and the perforated cylindrical tube of the strainer itself are moulded in one piece.</p> |
