Partition of compressed wood fibres has cement facing - and is strengthened by layers of fibres e.g. polyester or nylon

Building partition includes layer of wood fibres impregnated with cement (e.g. inorganic) and compressed. A facing layer of a cement aggregate is applied to the surface of the wood fibre layer. The building partition is strengthened with plies of alkali resistant reinforcing, fibres lying parallel with the surface of the partition and adjacent the surface of the partition. The partition is strong and resistant to cracking. Reinforcing fibres are pref. in the form of a woven or non-woven fabric of nylon or polyester.
