<p>The screwed expansion joint between pipes, has a corrugated pipe and two protective sleeves each joined to part of the pipe union. The sleeves (4, 5) extend over part of the corrugated pipe (8), and each incorporates one or more indentations (6, 7). When assembled these lock together, preventing relative rotation and restricting axial movement. The joint can be combined with a screwed sleeve to form a complete unit, and after the pipe union portions (2, 3) have been joined together with the corrugated pipe the outer sleeve (5) can be reduced in diameter at the free end (10) to form a support.</p> |
