<p>A bottomless cage is rotatably mounted about the middle of its rear wall and is carried by the three point linkage of a tractor. A support on the rear wall of the cage is connected by a cable to the tractor towing point. The open bottom enables the cage to receive an animal and straps are provided to hold the animal. On raising the lift linkage, the cable causes the cage to pivot, laying the restrained animal safely on its side. The cage latches in this position and the linkage is re-lowered so the animal can be tended safely at a convenient height.</p> |
