PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of water to be used for cooling, to shorten the length of cooling zone and to cool intensely the metal plate of high temperature with good efficiency, by arranging the plural water streams of flat plate form in the parallel direction or the oblique direction to the direction of progress of the metal plate of high temperature.
