The case is made from a single blank, complete with fold lines and slits and can be erected automatically with no need for gluing or stapling. When folded, the case has a bottom formed by two layers(6a, 6b) of cardboard, the top flaps folding inwards to give a double thickness top. The sides(2) are erected in two stages, the first providing a double thickness(7a, 7b) with the corrugations running horizontally. The second stage comprises another double thickness(3, 5) folded over the first, the corrugations now running vertically.
