<p>The applicator is for hot and cold glue together onto a work piece. It has glue applicators, moving vertically and horizontally and has pegs projecting on the working side. Stripper plates have bores to fit the pegs and executed a movement relative to the peg. The free peg ends, carrying the glue, are brought into contact with the work piece so that the hot and cold glue points are staggered. The stripper plates (16) are of such a thickness that with a retraction of the pegs (10) a glue chamber is formed between the lower peg surface and the associated bore (17). Feeders (11) fill the glue chambers with adhesive. The chambers may be moved over a glue roller (15) for filling.</p> |
