<p>The signal transmitter is for the ignition distribution system of an I.C. engine, which is mounted on a plate attached to the housing of the distributor. There is a rotatable rotor plate which is hinge coupled to the link rod of a sub-pressure box. There is a spacer bracket (18) which will prevent the link rod (16) from being released from the rotor plate (13) when in the functional position. The transmitter functions by induction. The spacer is formed by a sliding nipple (28) on the support ring (11). The nipple forms an integral part of the support ring. The spacer can also be formed by a plastic bracket (18) with a sliding elevation (20).</p> |
