<p>The free-standing flight of stairs has individual wooden or similar steps, and prefabricated support structures at both edges which are interconnected. Components inside the steps are engaged by vertical components in the support structures, as in 2112849. The steps (1, 2) are made in self-supporting form. The components (3, 4) in them are firmly connected to the steps by helical protrusions fitted to the sleeves, and carried sideways through flush-fitting guide surfaces also fitted to the sleeves. In any one step the components are mounted separately from each other. In each case the top and bottom components in a support structure are seated in the step concerned with a prestressing effect.</p> |
