PURPOSE:To obtain a sealed cell with an excellent antileakage property by adding a carbonate to a sealing agent, and heat-treating the carbonate after the cell is sealed up. CONSTITUTION:As a sealing agent between a sealing plate 8 and an insulating sealing ring 6, and between the sealing ring 6 and a positive electrode case 1, a substance made by adding a calcium carbonate powder to chlorosulfonic polyethylene is used. And after the sealing process, the sealing agent is heat- treated in the ambiance at a specific temperature. In this case, the carbonate is dissolved to swell the sealing agent 9, and the tightness between the metallic negative electrode sealing plate 8 and the insulating sealing ring 6, and that between the sealing ring 6 and the positive electrode case 1 are increased. Consequently, the airtightness is increased and the antileakage property can be improved. |
