<p>The safety device secures one or more terminal screws on switchgear when unscrewed almost completely. It comprises a slide which can be secured in place above the screw, and with an opening in it through which the screw can be turned. It can be comb-shaped, with two or more rows of ribs in different planes to form prongs, making it elastic, the first row comprising U-shaped clips joining the prongs and in the central part, while a second row at right angles join the prong ends together. The clips can be in line and at right angles to the prongs, the opposite arms of the clips forming a variable distance between the prongs and enclosing the openings.</p> |
