REAL TIME IMAGE OBJECT EXTRACTION METHOD AND SYSTEM

Provided are a method and a system for extracting a real time image object. The method for extracting an object according to one embodiment of the present invention is as follows: generating depth maps for images containing only a background; calculating an average of the generated background depth maps; generating a depth map for images containing an object; and extracting the object by comparing the depth map and the average depth map. Therefore, instead of multiple textures, the method simplifies an object and one background area, such that an efficiency of a system can be improved. In addition, the method extracts objects more accurately, thereby easily producing relevant content from now on.
