PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve separation between oil and water by a liquid electrolyzing technique in first treatment of waste liquid, wastewater, sewage and the like containing oil, and to further detoxify the separated water by, if necessary, applying spray drying, electrolytic separation, or electrolytic sterilization.SOLUTION: A global environment improvement apparatus for detoxifying waste liquid to be treated includes individual devices for treating waste liquid to be treated, in multiple stages. The individual device arranged at a preceding stage is a liquid electrolyzer exhibiting a function for oil-water separation of the waste liquid to be treated, its special electrode comprises a plurality of plate-shaped electrodes arranged to face each other, and a power source supplied to the special electrode is an AC-DC dual-use high-speed electrolytic power source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
