The soil working machine has a bore-shaped tool carrier. This consists of several adjacent frame sections connected by flange plates. They have downwards pointing soil working tools, which rotate about vertical axes. A follower roller (36) connected after the soil working tools (4) consists of several, adjacent, releasably connected segments (39) which are individually matched in their width to the working width of the frame sections (6). The segments cover the working width of the machine and they are connected by screws.
