PURPOSE:To detect a signal arrival direction within a short time by performing fast Fourier transformation, by using the phase data of antenna elements. CONSTITUTION:Phase data from antenna elements 61-6n are stored in the buffer memory of a signal processing part 17 and fast Fourier transform is applied to a beam direction twice the numbers (n) of the antenna elements by a fast Fourier transformer 19. The max. value of the output of the fast Fourier transformer 19 is detected by a detection circuit 20 and, by outputting the angle thereof, a signal arrival direction can be detected. |
