The present invention relates to a novel benzofuranone derivative compound, to a manufacturing method thereof, and to a composition for preventing or treating inflammatory bowel disease, comprising the same as an active ingredient. The novel benzofuranone derivative compound of the present invention has excellent effects in inhibiting the inflammation with respect to the colon, and can be efficiently used as a pharmaceutical composition or a health food composition which can prevent or treat inflammatory bowel disease.
