摘要 The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling an operating point of a hybrid electric vehicle which determine a charging/discharging trend according to moving averages of engine torque and demanded torque and dynamic event capture, and compensate the charging/discharging trend for an operating point to control the operating point. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for controlling an operating point of a hybrid electric vehicle comprises: a step of detecting driver demanded torque of a hybrid electric vehicle; a step of calculating a moving average based on the demanded torque and obtaining a basic charging/discharging trend; a step of incorporating system efficiency and leveling the charging/discharging trend by dynamic event capture; a step of determining an operating point compensating amount based on the basic charging/discharging trend and charging/discharging trend leveling; and a step of controlling an operating point of the hybrid electric vehicle according to the operating point compensating amount.
