The present invention relates to a clutch for a compressor including: a pulley (100) rotated by a belt connected to a vehicle engine and having a cylindrical inner bridge (100a) and an outer bridge (100b) with a convex unit and a concave unit on an outer circumference; a field coil assembly (200) inserted between the inner bridge (100a) and the outer bridge (100b) and generating a magnetic force by an external power source; and a disc (300) adhering to one lateral surface of the pulley (100) and separated from one lateral surface of the pulley (100) by the magnetic force generated by the field coil assembly (200) and transmitting the torque of the pulley (100). Surfaces of the pulley (100) and the disc in contact with each other are formed to be stepped. According to the present invention, the clutch for the compressor is capable of improving a frictional force by forming the stepped portions on the surfaces of the pulley and the disc in contact with each other, thereby obtaining an effect of improving the adsorptive power between the pulley and the disc. Accordingly, the performance of the clutch is capable of being improved by using the magnetic force of the same field coil. In addition, an effect of saving production costs is expectable by reducing the number of times of coiling the field coil or changing a material of the field coil. |
